    个人简介： 
    Shibin Jiang is president and founder of AdValue Photonics Inc. and an adjunct research professor at the University of Arizona College of Optical Sciences. Before he founded AdValue Photonics Inc in June 2007, he served as chief technology officer and co-founder of NP Photonics Inc. His research covers fiber lasers, fiber amplifiers and photonic devices using nonsilica glasses and fibers. He has authored and co-authored more than 150 publications, edited 21 proceedings books and been awarded 42 U.S. patents. 
    He is the recipient of the 2005 Gottardi Prize from the International Commission on Glass, the 2012 R&D 100 Award and the 2014 R&D 100 Award. He has served as general chair/program chair for 23 technical conferences. He served as associate editor/editor board for 4 scientific journals, and award committee members for OSA, SPIE and the America Ceramic Society. He was elected as chair for Glass and Optical Materials Division of the America Ceramic Society in 2014. Currently he serves vice president of photonics glass committee of the International Commission on Glass. 
    Jiang is elected as a fellow of SPIE in 2005, the American Ceramic Society in 2008, and the Optical Society (OSA) in 2011.
